It is usually installed on the Y-type joint with two safety valves of the same specification, the nominal diameter refers to the Y-type joint inlet diameter ‌

Structural characteristics

The double safety valve is usually connected by a flange, and its structure includes a valve body, a valve disc, a spring and a regulating device. The valve disc is normally closed under the action of external force. When the medium pressure in the equipment or pipeline rises beyond the specified value, the safety valve will automatically open and prevent the pressure from continuing to rise by discharging the medium. The safety valve closes automatically when the pressure is reduced to the specified value ‌

Working principle

The working principle of the double safety valve is based on the external force of the opening and closing parts in a normally closed state. When the medium pressure rises beyond the set value, the safety valve prevents the pressure from continuing to rise by discharging the medium to ensure that the pressure of the equipment and pipelines does not exceed the specified value. When the pressure is reduced to the safe value, the safety valve automatically closes, thus realizing the effective protection of the system ‌
