I. Principle of Automatic Backwashing and Sewage Discharge of Backwashing Filter:

1. Work filtering

When working normally, the water flow direction valve is in the open state. The water to be treated passes through the filter screen, and the fine particle impurities and suspended solids in the water are deposited near the sewage outlet due to the inertial effect by the principle of inertia.

2. Flushing and drainage

During normal flushing, the water flow direction valve is in the open state. When the filter screen intercepts a certain amount of fine particle impurities and suspended solids in the water, open the valve on the drain port. Under the effect of water flow, the impurities adhering to the collection section of the filter will be flushed until the discharged water is clear. Then close the valve on the sewage outlet to enter the normal working state.

3. Backwashing and drainage

During backwashing, the water flow direction valve is in the closed state while the drain valve is open. At this time, the water flow is forced to enter the outer side of the filter cylinder and the shell interlayer through the mesh holes at the inlet section of the filter cylinder, and then flush the impurities adhering to the mesh holes from the outer side of the filter cylinder in the opposite direction, achieving the purpose of cleaning the filter screen. As the steering valve is closed, the flow rate of water increases after passing through the backwash valve, and the backwashing effect is good.
