Vertical check valve

Check valves are valves that automatically stop the flow of fluid back. The disc of the check valve opens under the action of fluid pressure, and the fluid flows from the inlet side to the outlet side. When the pressure on the inlet side is lower than that on the outlet side, the valve disc automatically closes under the action of factors such as fluid pressure difference and gravity to prevent fluid backflow.

Vertical check valve refers to the valve that relies on the flow of the medium itself to automatically open and close the valve disc to prevent the backflow of the medium, also known as check valve and check valve, counterflow valve, back pressure valve. The check valve is an automatic valve whose main function is to prevent the backflow of the medium, prevent the pump and the drive motor from reversing, and prevent the discharge of the medium in the container. Check valves can also be used in auxiliary system supply lines where the pressure may be higher than the system pressure. Check valves can be mainly divided into swing check valves (rotating according to the center of gravity) and lift check valves (moving along the axis). The function of this type of valve is to only allow the medium to flow in one direction and prevent the opposite direction from flowing. Usually the valve works automatically. Under the action of unidirectional flow fluid pressure, the valve disc opens; When the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the fluid pressure and the self-overlapping disc act on the seat, cutting off the flow.

Vertical check valves open or close the valve due to the medium pressure at the inlet of the pipe, overcoming the resistance of the spring. When the medium pressure at the inlet end is lower than the pressure at the outlet end, the spring pushes the spool to the valve seat to close the valve, prevent the medium from flowing back and play a check role. Vertical check valves are widely used in chemical, liquefied petroleum gas, fluid and other industries. Check valves can be divided into three kinds according to the structure of lift check valves, swing check valves and butterfly check valves.
