H42W stainless steel flange vertical check valve is normally closed, due to the pressure of the medium at the inlet end of the pipeline, and overcome the spring resistance to make the valve open. When the medium pressure at the inlet end is lower than the outlet end, the spring pushes the spool to the valve seat and closes the valve, preventing the medium from countercurrent, so the start-stop effect.

Stainless steel flanged vertical check valve because of the spring support spool, it can be installed vertically or horizontally.
