Working principle of internal thread check valve

This valve allows the medium to flow in only one direction and automatically opens or closes. In the forward flow, the medium pressure makes the disc open; In reverse flow, fluid pressure and disc weight combine to close the valve. Internal thread check valves and butterfly check valves belong to this class of valves. Swing check valves have a hinged mechanism, and the disc rests freely on the tilted seat to ensure that the disc reaches the right position each time. The disc can be metal, inlaid leather, rubber or synthetic. Swing check valves pass through with little obstruction, while lift check valves have flaps located on the seat sealing surface to better prevent reverse flow. Depending on the requirements, the disc can be metal or material with rubber pads or rings. The pressure drop when the fluid passes through the lift check valve is large, limiting the flow rate.
