1. Structure composition
The three-piece quick installation ball valve is composed of a valve body, a spool, a seat, a sealing ring and a operating rod. The valve body is the shell of the ball valve, usually made of cast iron, steel or stainless steel. The spool is a key part of the ball valve, which is composed of a hollow sphere with a hole in the middle to control the flow through rotation. The seat is the connection between the spool and the valve body, usually made of elastic material to ensure the tightness of the valve.
2. How it works
The three-piece quick installation ball valve controls the flow of fluid by rotating the spool. When the spool is rotated to the open position, the orifice is aligned with the seat and fluid can flow through the body. When the spool is rotated to the closed position, the orifice is no longer aligned with the seat, preventing the passage of fluid.
Specifically, the working principle of the three-piece quick installation ball valve is as follows:
Open: When the operating lever rotates, the spool is rotated to the open position by a transmission mechanism connected to the spool. At this point, the orifice of the spool is perfectly aligned with the seat, and the fluid can flow into the valve body from the inlet and out through the orifice of the spool.
Adjustment: When the spool is in the open position, the rotation Angle of the spool can be adjusted by rotating the operating lever to control the flow of fluid.
Close: When the operating lever continues to rotate, the spool is rotated to the closed position by a transmission mechanism connected to the spool. At this point, the orifice of the spool is no longer aligned with the seat, preventing the passage of fluid.
